Park Information:
Jutting out into the famous
Mira River and only minutes from Sydney or
Fortress Louisbourg National Historic site, Mira River is the perfect escape. It is
close enough for day trips into the city or the many attractions
found in the area.
The quiet water-side setting offers a wide range of outdoor
opportunities including camping, walking, boating, canoeing, water
skiing, fishing, and swimming.

Mira River
Provincial Park is open from June 12 until September 14. The park has 148 woodland and open campsites, a picnic
area, boat launch, and trailer dump station. The large unsupervised
beach is ideal for families to play.
Although there are no electrical hookups, water and vault toilets
are conveniently located throughout the campground. Accessible flush
toilets and showers are also available.
