Park Information:
Nestled between two lakes in the
heart of southern Nova Scotia, this 114 ha park offers walking
trails in a hardwood setting, canoeing, swimming, and camping for
all those who like to enjoy the outdoors.
The quiet beauty of nature is evident everywhere. The shoreline
holds some of Nova Scotia's rare plants, and the lakes have both
brown and speckled trout, chain pickerel, and Atlantic salmon.

Ellenwood Lake
Provincial Park is open from May 21 - Sept. 6 (for the 2010 season)
and offers an 87-site campground, two picnic areas, boat launch, a
supervised beach, and hiking trail.

Ellenwood Lake Provincial Park
is located just 19 km northeast of Yarmouth and 1.6 km south of
Deerfield. Exit 34 off Highway 101, proceed 6.5 km along Route 340.
