Dollar Lake Provincial Park, Nova Scotia
Park Information:
Situated on a large lake not far
from the Musquodoboit Valley, the park is the perfect escape. The
quiet woodland setting offers a wide range of outdoor opportunities,
including camping, boating, canoeing, water-skiing, and fishing. A
beautiful sandy beach at the north end of the lake offers fresh
water swimming.
Facilities and Services:
Dollar Lake Provincial Park is open from June 18 - Oct. 11 (for
the 2010 season). The park has 119 woodland campsites, a picnic
area, boat launch, and trailer dump station. The main beach is
supervised during the peak season. The smaller "campers" beach is
unsupervised.
Although there are no electrical hook ups, water and
vault toilets are conveniently located throughout the campground.
Accessible flush toilets and showers facilities are also available.
