Parrsboro is a friendly community embracing both urban and rural
landscapes. It borders approximately 15 kilometers of Bay of Fundy
shoreline with its magnificent beaches and glorious sunsets. You can
view spectacular beauty, awe inspiring tides (more than 53 ft.
high), hike on Partridge Island. There is unrivalled scenic beauty
from the cliffs that cascade into the sea, and islands shaped and
weathered by the tides provide home to a host of seabirds.
Visit the most significant, recent fossil find in North America.
Along miles of beaches there are abundant rock-collecting
opportunities -- agate, amethyst, fossils and minerals are yours to
discover. Stroll through the Town's many shops and attractions,
explore the geological and historical museums where you can see
dinosaur replicas; or, explore the past mysteries of bygone ship
builders and merchants along the Minas Basin Shore.

take a theatrical voyage aboard the M.V. Kipawo with live theatre
performances. If you have had the opportunity to visit our part of
Cumberland County you will know that our motto is " where you are a
stranger only once.
